On Wednesday 31st August we will be joined at Mason & Taylor by Duncan Sambrook, of Sambrook’s Brewery.
We kick off at 6.30pm and Duncan will be giving out tasters of his newly launched Sambrook’s Pale Ale, and be on hand to chat about his range of real ales and answer any questions that you might have. We will also have the full range of Sambrook’s ales including Wandle, Junction, and Powerhouse Porter.
Sambrook’s were one of the first of the new wave of London craft breweries, launching in 2008 with ‘Wandle’ their beautiful English session bitter (named by beer writer Pete Brown earlier this year as one of the UK’s Top 50 beers). Wandle takes its name from the River Wandle, which in turn gave its name to the London Borough of Wandsworth, where the brewery is located.
Duncan is a man passionate about beer, and rather than brew a wide range of different ales he has focused on perfecting one beer at a time before moving on to the next. This means that after 3 years of brewing, he has only just launched his 4th beer, the brand new Pale Ale.
